Marine Village Park PARK FORMS
The Marine Village Park is located in the 300 block of North Duncan. Nearly a hundred trees shade this beautiful park. The focal point of the park is a gazebo which was built in 1912. The gazebo or bandstand, as it was formerly called, has been used for political events, band concerts, Memorial Day services, and weddings. Other park attractions include a pavilion, playground, basketball court, and a Vietnam era M-60 tank. Residents may reserve the park and pavilion for family activities.
Marine Heritage Park PARK FORMS
The Marine Heritage Park, dedicated in 2007 is located at N. Verson and Mill Streets. The Village of Marine partnered with other agencies to complete this project. The Spillway Repair Project was made possible through the Priority Lake and Watershed Implementation and funded by Conservation 2000 and Section 319 of the Clean Water Act Program of the Illinois EPA. The park includes a walking path, playground, pavilions, restrooms, parking lot, and lake. The lake was built by the Operating Engineers Local 520, who used this area as a training facility for their operators. The area also serves as the Trailhead for Madison County Bikeway Trail. The Madison County Transit Trial project was developed with the cooperation and funding of the Metro-East Parks and Recreation District and the Illinois Department of Natural Recourses. The residents may reserve the park pavilions for family activities.

Fireman’s Park
A park maintained by the firefighters from Marine Volunteer Fire Department is located on South Humboldt Street. The park is funded by fundraisers and donations and receives no tax dollars for upkeep. The park has ball diamonds, horseshoe pits, a playground, and a pavilion with a serving area and restrooms. Individuals may reserve the park for activities. For more information please call 887-4221.
